Yes I’m hoping to get the revamp of the photo gallery started in the next month or so. It (the gallery) needs some technical attention first, now under way.
The intention is to take advantage of vastly more and better photos now available, to include plumages, ages, behaviour and pretty images, aiming to make the gallery something special again as it used to be. It’ll be a lot of work so volunteers will be needed, over a few months, I’ll post more info here when we’re ready to start work.

Is the gallery looking for photos? Some time I advocated the displaying of more age and sex variations rather than the repetition of much the same kind of shot. However I thought such contributions were not being encouraged pending the putting of the gallery on a more organised basis. Perhaps I am wrong. ??????
At present Eurasian Coot and Dusky Moorhen have chicks on the pond which is bounded by Ginninderra, Braybrooke and Masterman in Belconnen. As we don’t have any photos of the chicks on the gallery, it would be great if someone with a good camera could go out and capture a nice shot of them.
