At the last COG meeting Matt Herring gave us a good presentation on ‘Bitterns in Rice Project & Wildlife-friendly Farming’. Unfortunately the projector was not working so we had to imagine the wonderful pictures, diagrams and tables in the presentation (Matt did provide some tantalising descriptions while pointing to the blank screen). A copy of Matt’s presentation is now accessible from the Latest News on the COG web site (http://canberrabirds.org.au/ ) but be warned it is large (24MB). Those not at the presentation will be at a disadvantage because the presentation does not include Matt’s commentary but those at the presentation may be able to fill in the context for you if you are interested.
