I take every opportunity that comes along to go spot-lighting and you more often see possums than owls!. The Mountain Brushtail possum or Bobuck has been for me a bit of an enigma - not sure about this animal, until a couple of days ago when I managed to film one with a youngster down the coast. see. https://vimeo.com/107108936
I have also some lovely new footage of the familiar Common Brushtail to compare, some of which was taken on same night see.https://vimeo.com/107108231 Most of this footage was filmed using infra red illumination - i.e. in complete darkness to the eyes of both possum and human!. Enjoy David |
