Thanks for that reported sighting of the Noisy Pitta at Bermagui. Especially with the clear image.
I have made a report of one at Berrima, not only south of Sydney, but at altitude. http://peonyden.blogspot.com.au/2010/10/noisy-pitta-found-near-berrima.html After considerable chasing around, i eventually got the following message:
The point about the southerly reports, in winter seems to fit with the current report. I notice that this has already been reported on Eremaea. Regards Denis Wilson "The Nature of Robertson"
