I went to Kambah Pool on Saturday & Sunday afternoons (for the first time this year). Conspicuous by their calling, lots of Crescent Honeyeaters down along the river. They are not sociable, so are not in flocks but spread out mainly in the Casuarinas along the riparian zone. They are generally there in winter but this was the first time I have noticed many. Also Scarlet Robins all along the transect. Philip |
