Subject: | Wet and potentially wet areas around Bungendore |

I explored a few spots in the general area of Bungendore this morning. Two of the larger areas ( the big dam off Lake Road and the swamp off Neil's Creek Rd) were still clear of standing water. Some water was visible in Lake George but it was a long way from Lake Rd.
The two dams near Trucking Yard lane (Darmody's Dam on TYL and Bungendore Meadow Dam) were both up to capacity WRT water and cattle but way down WRT waterfowl. No Plumed Whistling Ducks and onLy 4 Shelduck on the latter.
However the sewage works were in fine form. 4 Plumed Whistling ducks; 12 Australasian Shovelers, 2 Pink-eared Duck; 2 Hardhead, 3 Chestnut Teal, 3 Grey Teal, 10 Pacific Black Duck, 36 wood duck.
