Following the tip from Michael Maconochie I visited the Wetlands today and found a minimum of 47 Cattle Egrets hanging out with the cattle in the paddocks.  

Several Pink-eared Ducks visible on Rusk Pond 6 in the sewage works, seen from outside the fence.  (Surely the time we can get in their must be getting close?

From Fulica Hide I could see a Nankeen Night-Heron roosting in the willows on the Northern bank.

I have put some images of the Egres and the water level in the swamp on my blog.
