Hi Harvey, Philip & All, I checked on the other photos I took (all equally poor in quality) and I couldn't see any banding.
I did have a photo of the bird leaving the branch, so both legs were visible but blurry, with no apparent bands.
I've spoken to Dean Ingwersen at Birdlife.org and forwarded on photos an all relevant information.
I've also tried to contact Booderee National Park. Hopefully they will call me back.
