Hi,
The Corellas were still there yesterday, just before the heavy rain.
And today they came in only after lunch hour.
It is interesting to see many of them hanging around low and along busy bus lane, pedestrian path and busy Anketell St.

As I live in Kambah and over many years have been attending evening meetings twice a month in Chisholm, I would often drive along Isabella Drive at dusk. There are often so many Corellas gathering there that I suspect they roost in the trees along Isabella Drive near Monash & Gowrie, etc.

Hi djflotek flotek

To answer ur question. No they do not roost there. They r gone by COB. :)
I live nearby and I heard them in the morning lately but I don't think they are year around in the area.
It is just interesting to a high concentration of them feeding and roosting so low along busy road/pedestrian path.
Ok will check next few days.
Cheers,
Tun Pin

These Corella's are certainly locked in to the Tuggeranong CBD and Erindale centre. It's been that way for a good few years now.
These Corella's are long-time Tuggeranong and Erindale centric residents.

It's probably been discussed before, but does anybody wish to volunteer some answers as to why?

Is it simply due to a suitable 'food source' for Corella's which is the same for both locations? Do they also roost in the same vicinity?
I'm guessing it is simply due to a particular type of tree??
