The next Wednesday Walk is scheduled for Wednesday 15 January, meeting at the the Southern end of Urriara East Picnic Area (ie Canberra side of the Crossing, turning left when entering the car park). Bring plenty of water.
Note that the outing will be cancelled if a total fire ban is declared. As the rain predicted by the BoM for later this week has vanished from the forecast and the maximum temperature for the 15th (forecast by The Weather Channel) is 36C with moderate wind I'd have to conclude a ban is fairly likely. Check the RFS page or the BoM fire weather warning on the Canberra forecast page before setting out.
