Dips and twitches

I went to Fushwick (sic) STP late this morning and found a considerable number of workmen about the place but, perhaps as a consequence of that, a distinct lack of Avocets.  Possibly they were in Rusk Pond 1 but I could find no approved way of getting a look in there.  Have they turned up anywhere else?

Another briefish opportunity to boost my ACT list occurs tomorrow afternoon and I was contemplating taking myself to West Belconnen for Honeyeater viewing.  Are the Singing and/or Black HE still there?  As I will be somewhat time limited I would like to start at the most likely end of the the Pond: should I go to the North or South?
