this morning at Jerrabomberra Wetlands, behind Bittern hide, a pied currawong arrived with a still struggling (but not for long) crested pigeon in its beak. Two young currawongs begged for the spoils, as the adult currawong pulled little bits off the pigeon and fed them. not much left but feathers by the time it finished!
