This began early when in addition to the koel calls a less usual racket called for a walk on Rocky Knob where Rainbow Lorikeets were sitting in the regenerating African Boxthorn.  The local flock has swelled to a dozen and gets noisier each day.  There is a lot of squabbling.  You might as well be living in Sydney  -  or Cairns, or Melbourne – or Port Moresby.
