The snipe was initially nowhere to be seen despite we counted 7 Latham Snipes
foraging boldly around the dock. It finally came out further behind the dock at
8pm just before sunset. Even this it only appeared for 5 mins and then went
further behind and vanished among denser vegetation.
That was really a bird that requires perseverance to see.
