The nest that was started by the rufous whistlers on Saturday now has a female
sitting in it , off and on. She is continuing to bring in nesting material to
get it as comfortable as possible. No sign of the male.
A pair of buff rumped thornbills are building a nest in the bark of gum tree
very close to where the gerygones are nesting.
Lots of white browed and masked wood swallow are flying about, interacting
sociably and unsociably. There are not so many duskys. I saw a pair of white
browed WS copulate and then go to what could be their nesting site. Another
pair were building a nest nearby
