A few years ago I saw a Wedge-tailed Eagle hovering about 2m above a gray roo. The roo was gazing up at it and seemed to nearly topple backward several times but regained it’s balance each time. I didn’t have time to await the outcome but wondered if the WE had dinner on it’s mind.
