NO HUNTING in National Parks

01. Thurs 22 August, Debate in Parliament: "Hunting in National Parks"

Watch it live online (around 4:15/4:30)  or live from the gallery in NSW Parliament House (arrive for 4pm).

A friendly reminder that you can't wear or bring protest items, signs, banners etc into Parliament House, so leave them at home (or security will confiscate them from you on the way in).

03. Campaign against hunting continues in Oberon!

The people of Oberon began a sturdy push back against hunting on public land earleier this year. MAX Sward is continuing his fight to keep reckless shooters out of state forests and national parks.

Last week Mr Sward presented Member for Bathurst Paul Toole with a petition with over 500 signatures to be presented to state parliament. Read more: http://www.oberonreview.com.au/story/1707283/petition-heads-east/

04. Inaccurate article published online

If you read this article online, like most people, you were probably scratching your head wondering what on earth is going on here? Many, including the office of the Minister for Environment, have called for a correction as the majority of the article is grossly misinformed.
