Just went for a stroll in the botanic gardens at Wagga and saw two Green Parrots (restricted to Tasmania), guess they must be escapees. Was pretty dark and stormy but got a couple of photos anyway which I will post when I get back to Canberra Friday night.

I have discussed this with a few folk and it has been accepted as a good idea.  So we will meet at the parking area off Pialligo Avenue at 9am on the 21st.    see red arrow in image below.

NOTE that the road is likely to be very busy at that time so take great care when turning right into the parking area.  Alternatively approach via Oaks Estate or  Queanbeyan.
