A brief walk this morning revealed (inter alia)
  • 10 Australian Shelduck;
  • 1 Peregrine, in active pursuit of a large flock of Galahs;
  • 1 Golden-headed Cisticola (unusual elsewhere in this area);
  • 30 Red-rumped Parrots
  • 15+ Flame Robins, including several breeding plumage males.  This is very much a conservative count as they were moving back and forth past my car along a fence line.  There could easily have been 30 in the flock in total.
