No, Mark.  The image attached “was the only similar image I could find, although it tells you you are ending the whateveritis zone”.  I thought that would have been clear that the “END” part of the illustration was different from the actual sign I saw.

You have all failed your basic traffic sign laws. It is THE END of a no stopping area, so if it is safe to do so, you can now stop in the area!! No Junior Woodchucks badge for all of you!!!!!!!

I had a delightful morning being shown around Uriarra Village by Jude Hopwood today.  On my way there and back, in the vicinity of the new dam, only visible after the fog lifted, I was puzzled by a road sign that was a big S in a circle with a red line across it.  I have been unable to find an explanation on the internet, and indeed, the attached was the only similar image I could find, although it tells you you are ending the whateveritis zone.  Haven’t the faintest idea what road rule I might have been breaking.  Does anyone else know?
