Three of us headed for the newly declared Bango Nature Reserve north of Yass this morning seeing a Brown Falcon on the drive up. Bango used to be state forest and has no trails. It is mostly dry forest covering 441 hectares and rising to 792 metres. We recorded 23 species including many Scarlet Robins, Brown-headed Honeyeater and Wedge-tailed Eagle.
