A Spotted Harrier flew over West Belconnen Pond this morning, at about 10:30, heading south. Freckled Duck, cormorants in large numbers (I counted 85 Little Black Cormorants in one tree with 30 more on the water below and, I estimate, 40 or more elsewhere on the pond) and about 10 Great Egrets are still present.
