This was ACT vets athletics handicap day.  A Diamond Firetail was calling and at least 3 White-fronted Chats seen in the first kilometre of track from the Grandstand.  Before the red mist of exertion took its toll I noticed several flocks of Honeyeaters - mainly if not all,Yellow-faced, flying around seeming to head toward the Murrumbidgee.
