Yes it
is still a uncommon species in Canberra though appears to be slowly getting
established. It sort of depends on what the words "unusual" or for that matter
"uncommon", actually means. Thankfully the Crested Pigeon established itself
here first.

Way I had a Spotted Turtle-dove (Spotted Dove) fly across the road and into
dense foliage in Commonwealth Park. The COG website suggests this is an
unusual species for the ACT, is that still the case?
