On a walk last evening, my wife and I saw a family of four King Parrots with two dependent young being fed by both parents.  They were near Melbourne Ave on the Forrest side.  I haven’t seen breeding activity of KPs around here before.  Perhaps they bred somewhat distant from this area and had travelled here.  Indeed I have noticed in recent days that KPs have begun to come back into my GBS area after some weeks of absence.
