Just to let you all know we currently have a Silver Gull in care at RSPCA from the Lake with suspected botulism so please keep a look out for any paralysed birds in the area – so yes an outbreak could be possible

There is mention of it in urban wetlands around Perth

Just thinking aloud... Has there ever been an outbreak of botulism in Kelly’s history?

I suspect the warm water and the lack of dissolved oxygen has been responsible for the demise of several large carp in Kellys over the lest few weeks. Does anyone know if Kellys is isolated from LBD i e are the carp marooned?
