For all the last week I have had a bad foot and unable to get out (some days not able to walk). Today being marginally better I went out to look at the Tawny Frogmouth nest with two chicks at Kambah Pool. It is visible from the car park. The nest is still there but no sign of the birds, so I guess they have left.

I had to stop driving to give a pair of Common Bronzewings time to fly off the access road just above the car park.

Yesterday I observed that the Tawny Frogmouth nest with two chicks at Kambah Pool is still going well with the chicks getting bigger and alert.  ................ Also, for what it is worth, there is still the Koel pair around my home.
