We have been to Campbell Park several mornings in the last week. We have seen
Leaden flycatchers--a nest, with birds sitting last Saturday, and today a pair
from a different nest feeding young.
Fantails on the daintiest nest
White throated geregones at entrance to nest, feeding young
A pair of dollar birds hanging around a hole in a tree that we saw one go in
and out of last Saturday
Willy wagtails on nest.
Red browed firetails building nest last Saturday. It is very well hidden
Three tiny owlet nightjar chicks, looking out from edge of nest.
Black faced cuckoo shrikes feeding young.
Noisy friar birds, feeding young
Magpie larks on nest
Galahs cleaning out a hollow
I wonder how the chicks will survive with day after day of this heat
Oh, yes, a pair of boxing kangaroos
