Yes of course, Brendan this time, not Scott.  But Scott was a great support.  Sometimes I would come across them on a week-end chasing reports of blow-ins all across the ACT, exchanging news on their phones.  With working lives too, like many of our more successful tickers, which is a mystery to retired layabouts like myself.

Yes, a hearty well done to Scott.  And what was Milburn’s?  Wasn’t Alastair’s of a few years ago up with that?  Has anyone else got 200 ACTers in a year?

Happy New Year, Canberra Birders!!

 

Just a quick note to say a big congratulations to Brendan Sheean on his first crack at an ACT 'Big Year'.

 

I believe his final tally was 209, a very impressive total, & I believe second only to Milburn for the year.

 

Well done to all & happy birding for 2013. Lets hope this year may bring us some rarities again :-)
