By way of a follow-up (but a bit off topic), I went back to Mulligan's Flat again this morning. This time it was later in the morning and I spent more time looking for insects, succeeding in finding a Golden Sun Moth and a spectacular metallic blue Pollanisus moth. Same birds found today as yesterday, although others reported hearing Brush Cuckoo before I arrived.

Cheers
Tobias
