Without size it confused me. For a moment I thought of a Raven but the beak isn't big enough. I don't think Geoffrey's suggestion of a Chough is right, as the shape is wrong. Also they have the white wing patch when juvenile, so (unless it has the white wings) if it is a Chough surely the question as to what it is wouldn't arise.
 
Although it looks almost black on the photo, rather than dark grey-brown, I can't go past that surely this is a juvenile Starling. Is the size right for that? If it is, I wouldn't wish you to assist it. I suggest feed it to something else.

We have had a fledgling brought in to the RSPCA that apparently fell from its nest in Tidbinbilla – bird can fly quite well – can someone please help to identify for our records
