Can’t get the size, Jane, but the bill and colour (if a bit washed out by the flash) would fit a young chough.  If it can fly it should be welcomed back by the attending group.  On the other hand, if it’s not a chough we’ll have them scratching their heads.   g

We have had a fledgling brought in to the RSPCA that apparently fell from its nest in Tidbinbilla – bird can fly quite well – can someone please help to identify for our records
