Saw a galah looking bird very near the ground in my back yard and it
allowed me to go right up to it but tried to bite if I went to touch it. Thought
it may be an escapee but has a pinkish comb and very dark eye (not blue or red)?
I am in Calwell and if anyone knows of anyone missing a bird like this, let me
know as taking it to the vet as very quiet and not moving much. Don’t believe it
to be fledging has all other feather colours.
A
male Koel in Deakin this morning. Doing its thing @ 6.30am.
At
the top of a E. mannifera.
