Yes, it is indeed the first Little Bittern in the GBS. GBS species number 242.

Rhonda and I were sitting on our back deck enjoying lunch when out of the long grass at the lake edge 15m from us stepped a LITTLE BITTERN. It quickly ducked back into the grass. Our mad scramble for cameras was rewarded when it reappeared (see enclosed). I believe this one is a male but happy to be corrected. Is this a first for a GBS site???
