Jerra wetlands

Everything seemed very active at Jerra wetlands this morning. There were 3 Pink-eared duck, 3 Latham’s snipe, 2 Nankeen heron and the BT native-hen all feeding quite openly.  There was also a pelican that appeared to get tangled up in its own neck whilst having a yawn. Not sure if it was just having a stretch, but it sat like that for a while. Possibly the pelican equivalent of the Downward Dog.
