Subject: | Superb Parrots in Geelong? |

Hi all, I just wanted to inform you all that I saw a pair of Superb Parrots today down in Geelong. I'm guessing that they were escapees. I'm unsure of whether to report them as I have no proof to back up my claim (aside from my description of the birds). The people I told at uni (my supervisors) were very sceptical, but I can't think of any other parrot that fits what I saw. I distinctly saw the yellow face, red breast stripe and uniformly bright green body with a very long tail, and as soon as I saw them the first thought into my head was "Superb Parrots!". Unfortunately as I was driving I could not stop for a closer look, and I did not see where/if they landed. I wandered around in the area an hour or so later (I had a meeting that I had to attend) but failed to locate them.
Any suggestions on what I should do with this observation?
Thanks, Erika
