Hello all, I observed what I thought to be some odd magpie behaviour today at around lunchtime. A juv was sitting on a patch of lawn being attended by an adult, who jumped sideways back and forth over the juv a few times. I was driving past at the time so unfortunately I was unable to observe them for an extended period of time. I was just wondering if anyone had seen this sort of behaviour before?
