Not sure if anyone is interested, but here are the pair, in view from the causeway at Komungla, SE of Goulburn on the Currawang Road at 8am today. Not terribly good images, sorry.  I know it's a bit off topic, but would anyone know if this image of the water rat is sufficient to identify it as Hydromys chrysogaster.  He was foraging in deep water, submerged much of the time.
