I am just back from the United States where we visited Yellowstone
National Park. During a conversation with some
people interested in birds I mentioned that I had not heard a "dawn
chorus". What is a dawn chorus came the reply?
This raises a question as to whether 'dawn choruses' are unique to
Australia or else there is some other explanation?
I am uncertain as to how widespread in the world this phenomenon is?
