I visited the recently repaired large dam at Mulligan's Flat yesterday afternoon (8 October) and was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of water and a good selection of waterbirds:

Australasian Grebe
Hoary-headed Grebe
White-faced Heron
Australian White Ibis
Straw-necked Ibis
Australian Wood Duck
Grey Teal
Chestnut Teal
Pacific Black Duck
Hardhead
Eurasian Coot

Also
Little Eagle perched in a large dead tree
Stubble Quail in adjacent grassland
