Dear Geoffrey,
 
until recently the full feral-count at WBP was 3 male Mallard, 1 female, the female hybrid shown below, a white farmyard duck and 2 large Muscovy-like ducks (usually at the northern end of the pond. None of the pure-bred Mallards (or the hybrdi) appear to be ringed.

An interesting Black Duck X, with Mallard consort and other waterbirds at the West Belconnen Pond feeding melee this afternoon.  In this throw, the Hardheads, Black Ducks and the Coot B Team were awarded points ...
