This rather large brown snake was lying guard at the door way of the Cygnus hide when we chose to leave after being in there for about 15 minutes. 
It bailed us up for 20-25 minutes before sliding away and under the hide. This photo was taken from inside the hide.

Then when we 'escaped' I looked down and there was another one at my feet between the path and the hide.
So take care while at the wetlands.
