It is noteworthy that the one attributed to Geoffrey is the one in the lid of the box by the top entry point.  I had assumed that was placed there by ACTEW who set up the box: why they now appear to have some alternative is bewildering.

In Brendan Sheean's 's Eremaea posting yesterday (,  he used the COG no. 7 description, but Eremaea included the above reference to the ACTEWAGL system.

Any suggestion as to a preferred usage for bird reports? 1-7 seems much easier to remember to me .
