I experienced my first Magpie swooping attack today, around the back of Fraser.  Four swoops, not very convincing.

I am always amused at some cyclists who decorate their helmets with cable ties.  I saw an old duffer yesterday (about my age) with about 20 poking out of his helmet.  My intuitive fashion sense tells me I’d rather have the maggies pecking on the helmet rather than looking even more bizarre than I normally do..

If you look at the YT video of this experiment, it indicates that the best way to not be swooped is to remove your helmet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wHreVKgOT4.
