I have been forwarded by some friends involved in Parkcare.   I think the sentiments in the message below are worth passing on to this list.

This young male Spotted-Tailed Quoll was hit by a car and killed near the intersection of Hindmarsh Drive and the Tuggeranong Parkway in late May (2012).
While it is sad that he was killed, it is nevertheless encouraging that quolls are still with us here in the 'bush capital'.
Where there are males, there might be females and it is possible that this young fella was on the look-out for mating prospects.
If you see a quoll in your strolls, please report your sighting by email to , or by phone to 6207 2087, noting the date, time of day and the approximate location.
This information could help to keep these beautiful animals safer amid the many hazards of urban living.
