Hey folks,
Not exactly Canberra, but I had 5 Gull-billed Terns on the mudflats of Cullendulla Creek nature reserve today. All five birds were adults and actively feeding on soldier crabs of which they where plenty about. Hopefully they'll linger but there are plenty of inaccessible mudflats up the Clyde River...
Also of interest: 5) Sooty and 4) Pied Oystercatchers, 1) Wedge-tailed Eagle and the Southern Emu Wrens are still there.
