Brown Quail

A group of at least 5 Brown Quail were at Ginninderra Peninsula today. CBN indicates this is a regular location for the species but I have rarely seen them and even more rarely had them stay close enough to get some video footage. Today they did not fly off but they kept a safe distance. The experience was short, being interrupted by the arrival of the rain. The attached photo is taken from the video.
