Noisy Miners en masse and on the move.

Subject: Noisy Miners en masse and on the move.

At around 1015 this morning a flock of 17 Noisy Miners flew across the western end of Haig Park. They are normally absent from this area. To the best of my knowledge, the nearest permanents being the birds around the wetlands behind the O'Connor shops and the birds at ANU. I have no idea what the function of this behaviouir was.
