Our nearest Noisy Miners are a few hundred metres away and we never see them
near our yard, but a few years ago (March 2009) we had them using our birdbaths
daily for a few weeks. There were some large eucalypts nearby which were
yielding a magnificent harvest of lerps and our birdbaths were in constant use
by dozens of Red Wattlebirds, Noisy Friarbirds, Noisy Miners and even one or
two Little Friarbirds. The Noisy Miners returned to their home turf each night.
Regards,
Leo.
