Someone who has been living in a room with no windows nor connections with the media may not realise that it has been a rather damp month thus far. Assuming Mulligan's Flat is like Carwoola I strongly suggest that those planning to attend the walk next Wednesday should:
- have waterproof footwear that is easy to walk in (wellies tend not to meet the latter criterion) and/or
- leave dry footwear in their car.
We should possibly try to avoid the really boggy areas but my experience of Mullies in dampness is that most interesting areas can be pretty soggy in conditions such as we are likely to encounter.
See you around 9am on the 21st.
Martin
